A detailed packing list for your next triathlon so you don’t forget a THING!

Triathlon season is upon us at last, and we cannot WAIT to swap the turbo for real roads and race mornings again. All those winter miles are about to pay off as that event you spontaneously signed up for is right around the corner!

To keep race week calm and organised, here’s a complete, reliable packing list to save you from any last‑minute chaos and stress. Save it to your notes page for future reference!

General

  • Tri suit

  • Sports bra

  • Watch

  • HR monitor (with enough battery!)

  • Gels + carb mix + other nutrition

  • Sports water bottles (at some races, be prepared to bin your old ones at aid stations to swap with new bottles)

  • ID (for check-in)

Swim

  • Wetsuit

  • Goggles

  • Swim cap (some races will have one in the race pack)

  • Wetsuit lube/vaseline

  • Crocs/slides/flip flops

Bike

  • Bike + TT bars

  • Bike computer

  • Cycling shoes

  • Socks

  • Helmet

  • Sunglasses

Run

  • Trainers

  • Visor/hat

  • Race belt

Extras

  • Sun cream

  • Towel (for swim to bike transition - best if bright coloured so you can spot it)

  • Extra plastic water bottles (for pre race, post race and in transition bag, can run with them if needed and easy to dispose of)

  • Hair bands

  • Sports watch charger

Now time to eat lots of carbs and enjoy your race!

Remember to allow plenty of time to faff with your transition bags, set up your transition area and visit us in the event village! ;)))
